Reporting to the general manager Site Senior Executive (SSE) I led a site team that undertook the following:Developed and implement risk management methodologies including development of site-based risk registers.Assist RMS corporate in the development and implementation of critical mining hazards. Implemented emergency response capabilities to ensure that the site could respond to an emergency event in underground and open pit operations if required.Developed and implemented & managed the site medical centre ensuring competency of site medics and readiness for remote injuries, fitness for work testing, fatigue management and site entry process.Developed inspection & audits, set schedule, and implemented.Delivered RMS safety policies to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and corporate safety standards.Consulted with relevant government departments and other external organisations on occupational health and safety matters including CONTAM, SRSCoordinated the Annual Environmental Reporting (AER) associated with, National Pollutant Inventory (NPI), The National Greenhouse and Energy (NGER) and Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER).
