Everyone wants assurance that they could maintain their current lifestyle or better, forever.Whether you are a pre-retiree or already in retirement, in order to have the clarity and confidence of reaching and maintaining your objectives, you must focus on cash flow (income) first, foremost and forever. The better you are at protecting and saving your working income now, the higher the probability of building assets sufficient to produce adequate retirement income. The earlier you grasp the difference in building assets (investing) as a pre-retiree and taking income from assets (divesting) as a retiree, the better. As a retiree, fluctuating rates of return will challenge your ability to create and sustain the income you desire. This experience will be something new to you. The earlier you strategize and plan and take action, the more time you have to coordinate your assets properly to avoid getting boxed in. When I'm not working with my clients or spending time with my family you will probably find me working out, hiking or walking down a fairway with a club in my hand or rooting on my daughter's team.
