SRM includes safety risk assessments, hazard identification and resolution, and risk documentation.Our Safety Team maintains a library of Safety Engineering process descriptions for performing the Safety Analyses and Tasks required to support the integrity and service continuity of the WAAS.We perform and maintain the Safety Analyses for the WAAS, including Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Common Cause Analysis.We are familiar with and provide expertise to other FAA programs in industry standard aviation system safety guidelines, including the Society of Automotive Engineering (SAE) Aerospace Recommended Practices (ARP) 4754 guidance for safety assurance of complex aviation systems, ARP 4761 guidance for safety analyses, and RTCA/DO-178B guidance for software assurance of complex systems.
