Responsible for On prem platforms whilst migrating data to the cloud. Supporting the Consumer Data and AI organisation

Currently product owner for the legacy on prem data products team. This involves coordinating and overseeing changes to the BT and EE data estates supporting inbound & outbound personalisation data whilst working with the cloud migration teams on transitioning the current capability to a future state. Requirements refinement and analysis along with customer acceptance testing and implementation of data quality frameworks.

Reporting to the Head of Data & Infrastructure, leading and directly managing a team of Business Analyst’s who are assessing changes and defining business requirements for the customer data warehouse. This includes overseeing and signing off of the project through the IT development and then assessing the data quality/UAT and supporting the reporting community in accurate reporting and analysis and building confidence on the data.

Reporting to the Director of Operations Test, providing analysis and project management of major changes to the test process and its interaction with the wider supply chain business. Achievements Created management reporting web dashboard of supplier false test fails using SAS & Data Mining.Previously unknown rates of failure were defined to a measureable level. Identification & problem solving false test failures by collaborating with engineering groups. A 15% false fail rate was reduced by 5% over a 3 month period.Development of a risk analysis prioritisation method using yield, field data, supply plan volumes and predicted growth. Products at risk were identified & improvement teams were established. Performed troubleshooting of customer complaints centred around firmware revisions. Tactical data gathering and reporting to management led to sponsorship of a project in this area. Leadership of a project on recording shipping system firmware (FW) revisions including modelling the database tables structure. Traceability of FW data was established for individual units shipped.

Supported the Director of Operations Customer Quality by providing full analytical capability from data gathering /manipulation/scrubbing & statistical analysis to identifying key customer improvements in system manufacturing & design quality.AchievementsInvestigated the causal of availability (downtime) at customer sites using several linked database queries. Identified that service personnel misdiagnosis of CPU boards was a problem. This was calculated to have a $30Million saving over 3 years.Created an extract transform load (ETL) process to collate system telemetry data providing remote debug capability of customer failures and liaising with the service organisation. Co-authored a paper on the effect of memory page retirement on system reliability and availability.Implemented an innovative company wide defect classification schema. In its first year of usage supplier management was identified as a problem area. After 12 months and an improvement program to address this area, the level of incidences had dropped significantly.Performed analysis of bug growth rates. Provided insight into release dates of software and hardware projects leading to questions about testing of products in the early introduction stages.Leader of a Sigma project (Green belt in training) to model the operations test strength. Assessed various model fitting and identified 5 key new measurements.

Manager with 8 direct reports in the operations engineering group. In charge of electronic root cause analysis of early life and DOA failures. Management of qualifications of new parts into the factory processes. Achievements - Implemented a qualification capability. Management of physical space and personnel. - Reduced the time taken to analyse customer failed parts from 91 days to 33 days.
