One of the best opportunities, a dream job. As an apprentice I visited Ellerslie Press Site, and never through I would become the Night Press Manager, 15 years later. Exciting everyday, running the largest presshall in NZ, working with a amazing group of people to deliver the country's best selling daily newspaper. Being part of major restructuring, new formats, and multiple changes to print schedule, development my approach to getting the message across under pressure. Made some life friends, and see young brilliant people been given the opportunity to learn and develop their personal and work skills to the highest levels. One of proudest moments, was see my print assistant complete his training as a printer, and being recognized as the best in the country in his field

The most development in my working career was at the Dom Post. Joining the newest newspaper in the country and watching it grow beyond belief, in record time was amazing.The support by my immediate manager, and the senior management of the Dom Post was incredible.Being part of a team to report some huge world events to the nation's capital was awesome. The opportunity for development was second to none. From Toast Master Club, to Leader and Management Development course, taken by senior lectors and successful business people, excite grounding. Have a great respect for the production people, they were tough times, and they reached to meet everything through at them, professionally.
