About Peter Cassidy

I specialise in peptide mimetics and have recently developed a new technology for stabilising the alpha-helix. This technology is being applied to oncology and metabolic disease targets. I am also working on ligands for peptide G-protein coupled receptors. My focus is on industrial development rather than academic science. I have developed technologies for stabilising peptide turns and alpha helices; I have also developed new frameworks for small molecule drug development.
