I have covered many diverse industries over the years. Right out of High School I went to work building custom houses later I went to Chabot College and became an industrial electrician at Continental White Cap. Later in my career I worked for PG&E as a computer specialist, attained Microsoft Professional certification. As an elevator mechanic at UC Berkley I was charged with maintain 52 elevators and transport systems, both hydraulic and traction type. As I decided to start my own company we specialized in retrofitting churches and commercial remodeling including pre 1900 churches' infrastructures. As a IBEW journeyman electrician, certified in CA, I have continually increased my knowledge and expertise in the field by means of hands on and actual construction duties. I have always valued learning, as my father taught us , the day you die is the day you stop learning. I have taken this to heart fully. This is evident in my very achievement of a BA in 2014. Over the past 11 years I have fully dedicated myself to Pete Chacon Construction, Inc.. which I recently closed in 2015, retired from the electrical union and with my wife of 38 years, moved to Milton Georgia. We purchased a home here and over the past year to date have been completely remodeling the interior along with adding an additional 740 sq. ft. room addition / master suite. I am presently 57 years old and have many more years of good productive work in me. I look forward to sharing my vast knowledge and experience with others of the same mind-set
