I started WalkWise because my family had a problem: how do we keep my grandparents safe and healthy at home while providing them with the independence they deserve? How do we mitigate the risk of catastrophic falls? How do get in front of health issues before they end up in the ER? How do we promote social engagement and high quality of life?I saw that there were no solutions designed for my family, which included three grandparents that used walkers and would never use a wearable device. So I built the solution we needed: the world's first smart mobility aid attachment. It's turned into a system that is used across the country by innovative healthcare providers; reducing fall rates, detecting infection symptoms, and saving lives.My startup experiences come from helping found the MIT Hyperloop Team, the MIT Water Innovation Prize, and the Otter Baby Warmer System. I love technology, building great teams, and ultimately making a positive impact in the world.Helping seniors and their care providers with simple yet powerful technology has become my passion.
