Lead software developer of the mobileSpiro project at Rice University (sh.rice.edu). Under this research project, my team developed a low-cost, portable spirometer to measure lung capacity in children with asthma. Work time listed was during school semesters.- Developed medical spirometry software for mobileSpiro on Android, including calculation of lung function parameters, validation of user data, spirometer calibration algorithms, and user interface- Created software prototypes for different use cases, such as a mobileSpiro-integrated asthma journal and a version for use by a community health worker- Collaborated with physicians, faculty members, and students to identify requirements and design the application- Co-authored "mobileSpiro: Accurate Mobile Spirometry for Self-Management of Asthma" (published in ACM). Won best demo award at mHealthSys ’11, an international workshop on mobile systems and applications for health care

Developed prototype web templates and image renderer to enable self-service generation of ad creatives, which later became the basis of the “advertise your app” program for Kindle devices. The project involved various web services, PhantomJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and device-side integration.

Worked on the iPhone and Android HomeAway mobile applications. Introduced continuous integration to HomeAway’s Android development efforts.
