Peter has pursued a successful academic career in Veterinary Science over the past 50 years in both Australia and the US, specializing in animal reproduction. He has over 200 publications (including 7 text books) spanning animal reproduction, veterinary education, and animal welfare. Skills include strong technical expertise in animal reproduction, particularly male. He has played a strong and ongoing role in the development of bull breeding soundness protocols and criteria both in N America and Australia. He has extensive professional and industry networks in Australasia, N and S America. Peter has given major invited presentations in 20 countries (Europe, N and S America, Australasia, Japan).
