Structural Engineering for small and medium sized buildings, for both domestic and commercial clients.Lead role in managing the company’s activities regarding the Construction Design Management Regulations (CDM2015).

Initially running a community coffee shop, I oversaw the development of this business into a much bigger training facility for young people at risk of exclusion from school, as well as being a provider of apprenticeship training courses. The business turnover developed from £50k to £500k, moving into 3 premises in the process. During this period, I managed the design process which achieved Planning Permission for a £1.8m Community Centre.

Programme Manager for a series of projects under Severn Trent’s AMP5 Framework arrangements. Consultants and contractors employed as required to deliver the programme of work. Includes acting as CDM Coordinator for the projects.Milford Borehole source £3.4m, 3 contracts- Refurbishment of 2 No boreholes with severe manganese contamination, including draining alake in Grade 2 listed parkland.- Provision of the first UV cryptosporidium deactivation plant in Severn Trent- Provision of 600m washout pipeline, including a crossing under the main East Coast railwayFlood prevention schemes at 3 water treatment works £3.2mMembrane replacement and refurbishment at Homesford Water treatment works £1.5mAlso 12 other projects currently at Feasibility design stage, approx £6.5m

Clean water, sewage and sewerage projects, both on site and in the office
