As a major advocate for the application of modern technology to help solve problems and address large, systemic problems, I plan to use my experience and skills to advance the field I am a part of and the world I live in.I hope that wherever my passions, work, or projects take me that I can remain a lifelong student who is constantly learning new things. My passion for psychology and biology has lead me to the field of neuroscience which truly is one of the final frontiers of science in my eyes. I enjoy studying complex brain mechanism, human behavior, motivation, and neural networks. But that is only scratching the surface of the potential application of these topics and how they intermingle with other topics like neurobiology, computational neuroscience, and neuropharmacology. Applying what I know to facilitate modern technology and practices to help improve them would be a dream come true for me. My value for improvement is a passion that drives me to be as direct and efficient as possible. I consider myself to be a fast learner who asks questions for issues I know will come up later in order to get them answers for them in the moment. I am quick to adapt and always ready for a challenge.I highly value equality and don't believe the modern world we are part of accurately represents the equal environment it sometimes claims to be. There are a lot of systemic problems created long ago that reinforce this disparity between people and preventing them from being fixed. It is part of my mission to work to change these systems and establish true equality.
