15+ years of commercial experience as a Director and Manager in the space sector developing new business, creating strategic partnerships, creating and implementing successful business proposals and contracts. Managing and developing staff to reach higher goals. 20+ years of engineering experience working in satellite operations control centers and ground stations across entire satellite systems. This work has been carried out for Boeing, EUMETSAT, European Space Agency (ESA), German Space Agency (GSA) on both geostationary satellites, Thuraya, WGS, Meteosat/Meteosat Second-Generation (MSG) series of satellites, and Low earth orbit (LEO) satellites, ROSAT/ Equator-S. His involvement in these projects has enabled him to gain expert knowledge of the complete development life cycle for spacecraft; TT&C ground stations, mission control centers and satellite data processing facilities. He has 'real life' experience of these systems gained by involvement in both routine operations and operations preparation support roles. This work has been carried out in both small and large teams working within control centers on systems through the full project life cycle, requirements, development, integration, validation, testing, routine operations, LEOP and commissioning.These positions have provided experience of interfacing at all levels with End-Users, development teams, internal management of large and small organizations, external government agencies, industrial contractors, operations engineers, analysts and controllers. He is able to work autonomously, is self-motivated, has a proven problem solving ability, and has an enthusiastic and professional approach.
