Enterprise Architect Pete Collier has been involved in high quality software engineering, IT, project and line management since 1993. Fully conversant with structured software engineering processes, team and technical leadership - a versatile and valued team player and leader.TOGAF certified since 2008, ITIL v3 trained and practised with experience and leadership in a wide range of IT projects from small one man projects to international multi-site developments; considerable experience with strategy and business case development over a range of products and technologies.Experienced in developing custom software development and test methodologies as well as hands-on practise and tailoring of waterfall, RAD and Agile methods. Previous technical skills and experience include Windows, UNIX (Solaris/Linux) and some mainframe environments. Experience in general Object Oriented Design, C#, Visual Basic (.Net), C++, Java, HLPlex/PLEX, MS SQL, MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, ASP, assembler (Z80, 80x86, 6502), Perl. Experience with various communications protocols, SGML, HTML, XML, CSS and technical authoring.Considerable experience with web development (including open source, .Net and MS Sharepoint, XML web services), databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Access, SAP BI), service oriented architectures and complex integrations (including MS Biztalk), Geographic Information Systems (ESRI, MapInfo).Non-technical skills include extensive line (business management, appraisals, financial management) and project management (PRINCE2, PROPS) experience, experience in Software CMM and People CMM, ISO 9001 as well as presentation skills and training development. Process and methodology development and tailoring.
