Evolv Technology designs and builds body scanners to automatically detect mass casualty threats hidden on people and in bags. These systems are currently deployed in stadiums, performing arts centers and airports.- Responsible for the mechanical concept design, detail design and documentation of three major NPI programs. Reveal Imaging Technologies developed explosives detection systems to inspect baggage and parcels for airport and facility security.- Developed new X-ray CT scanners, X-ray projection scanners, mobile truck platforms as part of a senior cross functional team.- Created the underlying hardware architecture for several multi-million dollar x-ray instrument development programs. - Defined and documented the x-ray beam path geometry, data acquisition configuration and critical component layout.- Defined critical component specifications and managed the vendor selection process. - Interfaced with the vendors from initial request for quote thru final factory acceptance testing to meet cost, performance and quality metrics- Designed a modular detector array and gantry casting that precisely aligned 33,600 DAS channels to the x-ray source focal spot while rotating at 120 RPM and a 19 g centrifugal load.
