I am an Associate Partner in McKinsey's Sustainability Practice. I am passionate about serving clients in the public and private sector on strategy for net zero transitions, and how these can drive a more sustainable, prosperous, and overall happier world. In particular I am a leader in our work on:- Emergent decarbonisation technologies, particularly those for hard to abate emissions, including hydrogen and carbon capture and storage- Green growth, particularly the orchestration of just transitions that produce high quality jobs, competitive positions in green exports and ultimately improve the quality of life of citizens involved- Negative emissions, including BECCS, DACS and nature based solutions- Sustainable cities, including the role of local government in facilitating urban emission reductions in areas such as buildings and mobility; urban adaptation in the face of climate hazards such as rising flood risk; and the role of smart city concepts to facilitate both (the topic of my Engineering Doctorate)I am also a leader in our work on socio-economic diversity within McKinsey, focusing on our research on the benefits of improving social mobility in society and having more socio-economically diverse workplaces.

By end, charged out at a higher profit margin than any other team member.In Buildings, organised and won a £10 million+ bid for the Southbank Centre redevelopment, produced a sustainability strategy for the Aga Khan that was successfully chosen by the client and undertook structural design for Thomas Heatherwick and services design for Zaha Hadid. -
Engineering Placement StudentExpedition Engineering Sep 2011 - Oct 2011Offered 1 month placement at the elite structural and conceptual engineering consultancy run by engineering legend Chris Wise. Tasked with analysing and improving world-leading engineering approaches including the largest ever ferro-cement roof, the Olympic Velodrome's structure and the London River Park. Given basic project management responsibility within 2 weeks of starting. Worked for director Ed Mccann as Education Consultant to single-handedly produce a day's workshop for undergraduate students on disaster relief engineering that has subsequently become a regular activity at a leading Russell-Group University. Project successful enough to be undertaken at many more universities. -
