Maintenance Superintendent at Rapu Rapu mining contract in Albay,Philippines in charge of the mining and marine fleets. August 2006 was moved to the position of EqMS Site Manager in charge of all maintenance and warehouse activity for the project.

Shift Supervisor on Lihir Island in PNG for LMC, supervising 35 National tradesmen, servicemen and trades assistants in the maintenance of their mobile mining fleet.I was also responsible for 4 Hopper barges and 2 barge loading wharves used to transfer waste material out to sea.

Maintenance Supervisor, reporting to the Plant Manager and General Manager Ausdrill Ltd for the task demobilizing the project from Geita in the Mwanza district of Tanzania to Fremantle, Perth WA.The demobilization entailed a 24klm road trip to Lake Victoria, then a 36hr barge trip across the lake into Kenya and then some 900klm road trip to Mombasa to a holding yard for cleaning down to satisfy Australian Quarantine regulations before loading and shipping to Fremantle, then distribution to several yards in Perth. A small portion of the fleet was sent to Ghana in West Africa. I was involved in all aspects of the move.

Maintenance Superintendent on the Tarkwa Goldfields opencut project in the Western Region of Ghana in West Africa. I was responsible for all aspects of maintenance, from the initial setting up of services and facilities, assembly, commissioning and mobilisation of a new mining fleet, to full production.My duties included recruitment of local African personnel, training them in correct modern servicing and maintenance techniques and procedures, plus setting up a site planning dep't and training local Shift Supervisors.
