I am a Mechanical Design engineer for Quest Global, working primarily with Pratt and Whitney.I was previously manufacturing Engineer for Paradigm Precision for 7 months at RGBSI for over a year. Prior to RGBSI, I was a contract industrial engineer for Kaman Aerospace. In this position I worked with manufacturing personnel to create detailed visual work instructions (VWIs) for manufacturing and fabrication processes. I also worked with engineering personnel to create visual models of in-development products as well as assist in the creation of Statements of Work (SoWs) for the company and potential service providers. Before my position at Kaman, I was a research and development engineer for Parker Hannifin's O-ring and Engineered Seals Division. In this position I conducted research with the goal of improving overall equipment efficiency, and the improvement of Parker's Dissolvable Seals product line. I conducted research for the development of new products and/or product lines. I also performed tests to ensure that manufactured products met the standards and tolerances required to be eligible for shipment. I also co-coached a High Performance Team (HPT) to improve productivity in the machine shop facility.I implemented a device into the manufacturing process that allowed new employees to conduct their work at a comparable rate and quality as experienced employees while easing the difficulty of that process. I also implemented a device that reduced the time to complete a manufacturing process by 1200%. I graduated with a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering at Quinnipiac University in May 2019. Prior to my graduation, I've had five years of engineering internship experience working as a mechanical engineering intern at Xergy Inc, a manufacturing engineering intern at Edgewell Personal Care, an operations intern at Calpine, and an optical engineering research intern at Delaware state university.During my time in college I was a mentor for three years helping freshmen and transfer students transition from their previous place of academic study to Quinnipiac University through QUEST, of which I was the coordinator for one year. I was a member of the Faculty Multicultural Advisory Board, the Student Multicultural Advisory Board, as well as being a member of the Student Leaders' Coordination Association (SLAC) on my campus.
