I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working in the sport and leisure industry.Key responsibilities:Strategic management of Wave Leisure Trust.Support to the Board of Trustees.Support to the Senior Management Team.Current successes:Present project is the Business Plan for Newhaven Fort for the potential management of the Ancient Monument and Napoleonic Fort in Newhaven, which is a Historic listed building in Newhaven. The ambitious Plan is being presented to Lewes District Council on the 17th February 2014. Working with a wealth of community partners to encourage community cohesion in strategic development and tactical implementation of interventions.Inspiring Active Lifestyles: led on a programme of strategic review for Wave Leisure Trust assisted by Telos Partners following the successful progress of our 2009-2014 plan. Working with our Board of Trustees, senior management team and our staff we have developed a plan of action for 2014-2019 that encompass 5 strategic pillars - Achieving Excellence, Business Sustainability, Customer Choice, Delivering to our community & Engaging with staff and partners.Saltdean Lido: currently working in partnership with Saltdean Lido CIC to bid for the management and operation of the iconic 1930's outdoor Lido in Saltdean, Brighton.This is now agreed and works start on the Funding bids by the CIC .Specialties: Strategic Planning, Partnerships ( LSPs ) and collaborative work in the Community , Joint use Provision, Leisure Facility Management.

The frameworks are working action plans to be implemented by a cross-section of partners.Joint junior activity holiday programmes: after a single town pilot in 2011, we are coordinating work on behalf of five town councils to provide comprehensive, integrated and inclusive summer holiday activity programmes for local young residents. The pilot saw over 3500 youngsters participate and it contributed to reduced anti-social behaviour within the town. Partners in the programme include town councils, county council departments, schools, police and town specific community organisations.
