Perform the drilling department's daily checklists, i.e. QHSE checks, mast/Derrick inspection, choke and kill manifold set up, etc. Maintain accurate records of tubular and tool dimensions (i.e. internal and external diameter, fish neck, and serial numbers).Read and interpret various gauges and meters relating to the drilling operations; assist the Driller in maintaining records and logs.Assist and relieve the Driller at the Driller's console during drilling operations. Assist with the preparation of equipment. Organize and supervise the drilling crews for all operations. Assist the Driller during an emergency or well control situation; assist in the well killing operations. Assist in supervision of Preventive Maintenance carried out on drilling equipment.Assist in running and cementing casing strings, running and retrieving BOPs and risers, and other operations as directed by the Driller or Toolpusher. Monitor mud systems and supervise solids control equipment and mud mixing operation.

Responsible for a range of duties above the derrick floor including, handling of the drill stem and tubing used in drilling operations or extraction during plugging or workover operations, conditioning of drilling fluids, maintaining and monitoring well fluids, circulation piping and transfer equipment or machinery. Guides drill stem, being mechanically lowered or raised by winch line, into or out of the bore hole.Works in the derrick while tripping pipe. Responsible for properly racking and securing pipe in derrick fingers while pulling pipe out of the hole. Responsible for moving and latching pipe in elevators while going into the hole and stabilizing pipe while connections are made on the rig floor. Maintains drilling fluid properties as directed by the driller. Monitors fluid pot or tank levels for losses or gains, checks fluid returns through mud conditioning equipment, and advises driller or changes. Inspects cutting on mud shaker and advises Driller as to changes and/or problems. Changes out shaker screens as directed. Maintains inventory of mud additives and chemicals and advises driller daily. Changes swabs, liners and pots and inspects mud pumps for damage, and repairs or reports need for repair to driller.

I worked as a cementing supervisor for three years.My duties were to install and repair equipment.Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner, following all regulatory policies and procedures.Operate and maintain all company vehicles within company and location policy standards. Lead and manage a crew of 4 or more people. Meet and exceed customer satisfaction.Communicate on a daily basis. Attend and participate in pre-job safety meetings.Assist in rig-up and rig-down at well site as assigned.My main activities were to pump down different amount of oil through the drill pipe into 156 mm lateral or horizontal section and displace it, supervising of 9 5/8” surface, and 7” intermediate cementing operations and preparation.
