I have the pleasure of assisting families and donors through their lifelong and generational engagement with Zeeland Christian School. I lead a team of six overseeing communications, marketing, admissions, enrollment, and development.I have led the charge for the creation and funding of the THRIVE Scholarship Fund. This scholarship emphasizes the underrepresented groups in our community - families of color, low socioeconomic status, and minority culture. Currently, in its third year, we have 45 students from those groups receiving this scholarship, nearly 5% of our total student body.Executed the restructuring of the communications, marketing, admissions, enrollment, and development departments under the advancement umbrella to increase efficiencies, improve family (customer) experience, and unify messaging.Led the design and communication aspects of the top-rated remote learning experience in Ottawa County Intermediate School District during the COVID-19 lockdown.Utilized Google Ads, Ninja Forms, and Active Campaign to capture 1400+ admissions leads since 2019.Led fundraising efforts totaling over $8 million, exceeding fundraising goals each year.Created and managed the publication of a tri-annual magazine-style newsletter mailed to 4500 families and alumni.Proposed and oversaw the rebranding of the school logo and mantra.Developed and proposed a multi-year advancement department growth plan to the Board of Trustees that resulted in a $200,000 annual budget increase.Wrote, recorded, performed, and directed school parody videos.
