I was brought in 10 months into the Dubai Metro extension project after the job fell behind programme.I was heavily involved with upping the standard of safety on the huge site, improving the layout, helping to increase productivity and at the time that I departed, the project was back on programme.

Instrumental in helping Amber up their wet cast output from around 36k up to 120k in a month. Used my vast technical knowledge to help Amber win a £30 million order from Magnox after producing the UK's first prototype high density concrete nuclear waste boxes.I was involved with the running of two manufacturing sites in Somercotes and Sheffield.

Setting up a Precast Yard on disused railway land, putting in drainage, fencing, accomodation, 50 tonne gantry cranes spanning 35 metres, casting post-tensioned beam girders up to 40.5m longManufacturing 1430 No. units for a new skyway on Segment 10.1 of NLEX.

Brought in to increase efficiency and improve quality and safety standards in a run-down factory. Much was achieved within a brief 10 month period before the company went into administration.

Tasked with designing a brand new facility for casting all types of precast and pre-stressed products, to fit an existing plot of land. I obtained prices and sources for cranes, pre-fabricated buildings, foundation work, ancillary buildings, roadworks, lighting, power, plant and equipment, manpower, etc - everything that is required to set up from scratch. Unfortunately, lack of funding meant that the project never got off the ground. Later I worked on a huge project building a polyethylene plant in Jubail for Sadara (Saudi Aramco/Dow Chemical jv). I was tasked by both my company and the Client to ensure the manufacture of the precast elements were supplied to the required quality and on schedule. I liased closely with Sadara to ensure that all embedded items were procured ahead of their required date to ensure that the tight casting/delivery programme to site could be met. I was also heavily involved with the "tweaking" of the early design to ensure that all components could be incorporated to the satisfaction of the Client. Casting completed over a 10-month period - finishing ahead of schedule. Otherwise running Salmabad Factory making both Architectural and Structural concrete products - from pressed products, hollowcore slabs and general precast to pre-stressed bridge beams and double tee units. I was responsible for the well-being of two erection gangs and attended daily and weekly site meetings with the Client and various sub-contractors. I kept daily Site Records and liaised directly with the Managing Director.
