I am a fully licensed CPA as of 7/15/2022.I have a master's degree in accounting from which I derive substantial understanding of accounting logistics. I have significant experience and skill with Microsoft Excel and have utilized this skill for both assisting with payroll at my position at Chatham University and account reconciliation at my position at the University of Pittsburgh. My previous experience includes payroll budgetary databasing at Chatham University as well as being an AP Audit project assistant at the University of Pittsburgh bookstore. As a Student Employment Assistant, I was able to substantially increase the quality of the monthly payroll excel database for the Student Employment Program at Chatham University. The databases that I created, modified and operated contained data for $1.3 million in budgeted salaries for 300+ student employees. I entered in all the actual salaries of those employees and matched them against their budgeted salaries to track if and by how much each position was over budget or under budget. I also helped created electronic contracts and maintain records of hiring information. As an AP Audit Project Assistant for the University of Pittsburgh Book Center, I was able to reconcile accounts, collect credit refunds and assess credit write offs for 700+ vendors both current and noncurrent. By conducting extensive research, reconciliations and in-depth auditing inquiries I was able to help salvage over 20,000$ in credit and ensure that the accounts payable system for the Book Center was at optimal efficiency.
