I was responsible for setting up a new service depot in Saskatoon SK. That included setting up the shop to meet Global Service Standards.I was responsible for the day to day running of the depot. My depot is responsible for Saskatchewan and Manitoba. I provide maintenance and service for all equipment in my service area. This included industrial sized equipment such as; generators 60 kw -1.5 MW, Ac units up to 60 tons, air chillers up to 220 tons, water cooled chillers up to 1000 tons, heaters up to 270 kw and Air compressors up to 1500 Cubic feet per minute (CFM)to name a few. I spent 7 months on a remote site assignment where I was partly responsible for set up, maintaining and monitoring a multi generator power plant.

Indepth Maintenance on a wide range of half to two tonne trucks; Ford, Gmc, Dodge, International trucks. The service and repair of a wide range of heavy duty equipment.For the last year or so, I have concentrated on the generator department, being involved in the assembly, fabrication, testing, repair and development of power generators and power distribution systems. This includes custom wiring and fabrication of various units from 8 KW to 500KW from natural gas to gasoline and diesel. A large part of our business has been the retrofitting of older power units with newer computerized controllers.

Jamaica W.I.

While working for the local Caterplliar dealer in Jamaica W.I., I repaired a wide range of caterpillar equipment. From skid steers to D11s', from a backhoes to Excavators.This included full component replacement, such as; engines, final drives, transmission, torque converters, ECMs internal engine components and general service/ and or maintenance. I provided top of the line maintenance and diagnostics for our customers and en-devoured to complete all repairs in a timely manner and always behave and converse in a professional manner.

Jamaica

Manage a staff of eleven technicians and two general laborers (washer men) who were charged with the responsible to maintenance the distribution fleet. The fleet consisted of; 5ton and 10ton refrigerated trucks and 40’ trailers, Tractors and maintenance vehicles. My responsibilities included personnel training, personnel assessment, personnel acquisition and dismissal, job assignment, invoicing for payroll, parts allocation and occasionally hands on maintenance while training staff. I was also responsible for new driver assessment and all external contractors related to the maintenance department. Such as welders, body repair men and electricians as all our repairs were done in-house. I was always available and dealt with all accidents, transportation or operational occurrences and would not rest for the night until all my guys were home and safe. I implemented and enforced a strong safety culture and was rewarded with only one recordable incidence in four and half years of my managing the workshop.
