I am the Head of Built Environment and manager of the urban design, landscape and planning specialists within Place Services. I am the sector lead for our partnership work with other Local Planning Authorities. I manage a growing team of talented professionals who, through their work, seek to positively influence the people and environments we work with, demonstrating added value through deliverable solutions.My background is in Urban Design and Landscape Architecture and has over 10 years’ experience working as an urban design consultant; specialising in producing development briefs, planning guidance and providing specialist development management advice to developers and our Local Authority clients.Place Services urban design, landscape and planning specialists work in partnership with a growing list of clients who share the same aims and ethos; delivering projects in a collaborative way.We: - provide specialist development management advice to Local Planning Authorities- negotiate enhanced development outcomes with consultants, developers and landowners - produce development briefs, development frameworks and masterplans- project manage town centre regeneration projects - produce regeneration strategies- produce public realm strategies and guidance- produce a wide range of planning policy guidance- prepare planning applications, planning statements and design and access statements- undertake design review- undertake design facilitation, training and consultationPlease feel free to contact me about how I can help you achieve your planning and business objectives.
