At ING worked as a developer/scrum master working on a dynamic ETL implementation to feed the QRM risk application. The main components for the ETL application were a file loader, database statement generator and processor. After setting up the mapping in the database the file could be loaded independent of the format in the file, only pre-condition was that it needs to be either a xml/excel/textbased input file. For the Dutch Belastingdienst responsible for developing a wide range of data conversion tools in SSIS and .Net. The assignment for the BD was to migrate the data of the Dutch population from 4 systems into a newly developed system (NTS). This system would become responsible for validating and granting healthcare / childcare / rental aid. To accommodate this we build SSIS components with .Net assemblies with helper functionality. Our software existed of 3 main parts, loading and validation of data, Automated and manual data correction and finally exporting to the NTS.Loading and validation are build in SSIS 2005 and later migrated to 2008. This part extracted data from text files and after validation inserted into a database. Also cross reference checks about family composition and income statements are included in this part. All data that is not valid is exported to text files for further processing.In the data correction software automated checks with SSIS components are implemented and beside this a website with manual correction options was also implentented. This website was build with ASP.NET, C#, Nhibernate with an underlaying MVP architecture.The last part of the application was implemented in C# and was responsible for creating XML-messages and offering them to the NTS. This was done by using a generic function to validate XML-messages against the one offered by the NTS bizztalk service bus. Tele2 Video Solutions is a supplier of Digital Television in the Netherlands. For this department responsible for development and maintenance of some tools. An xml parser tool alongside the XSLT transformation of XML data is responsible for the provision of media files to the IPTV middle-ware.A publisher tool that translates xml-data about media into manageable categories and media descriptions. This data would than be presented in the Video On Demand functionality.In a team building a user interface prototype to demonstrate the capabilities of the Tele2 set-top box. The main goal for this development was to prove that the current hardware could in-fact preform better, due to optimized code. Beside development also helped to set-up a new standard for documentation, and specified requirements for new development.

This project was for development of an Portal for administration of Digital Paper users. With “Anoto”-technology users could fill-in a document which would be analysed and send to a central server. Via our portal this documents where digitally stored and could be accessed to be processed further. The Portal was build in Macromedia Flex, realized in the Cairngorm framework. This is an Flex framework somewhat like MVC. Back-end services are realized in VB.Net.Beside development i've been 6 weeks to India to instruct our Offshore colleagues in Macromedia Flex. After 2 weeks of giving Flex course we helped them 4 weeks to startup.

This application would create and manage all permits and work instructions needed. The application was realized in a 3 layer web application.3. To give customers insight in their costs and profit we developed a 4 tier web application. A service layer, to accommodate proprietary development, and a web-layer to give default functionality. So in a team developed a question-driven application that guided the employee trough the interview. This is a MS Access 97 application with a SQL-server 2000 back end.2. For KPN reverse engineered a call-center application that planned call's to former customers to offer them new phone-contracts. Also business logic was implemented to select the customers that would give the highest ROI. Most important preqiusit for this application was that it should be developed MS-access 2.0, with a interface to an mainframe data-service and a SQL server 6.5 database.3.
