After my graduation, I worked for four different architectural practices in Antwerp and Brussels.During the early years the focus was on gaining experience in the construction industry and design.Gradually, my role shifted to Project Architect, with responsibility for design, cost estimates, technical specifications and supervision of the construction. The projects I was responsible for included the construction and renovation of large office buildings in Brussels and Louvain-La-Neuve, the extension of a major food processing plant in Olen, the extension of a pharmaceutical plant in Verviers and the construction of several residential projects in the vicinity of Brussels.
