The company was established early in 2008 (originally called Aviation Analytics) to provide an integrated analytical platform specifically for the Aviation Sector. With strong domain knowledge and experienced data integration skills the team have provided a wide range of analytic solutions and services to over 12 of the top 20 UK airports. We also provide solutions to airlines and other aviation-related enterprises.In 2015, working as part of the transformation team for the AGS Separation Project from BAA we delivered an integrated intelligence platform for Traffic Charging and Chroma AODB Analytics across all 3 airports (Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton) on time and on budget.Since the start of 2016 the company has been focusing on embedding data science components into its Aviation Intelligence Platforms and solutions to enable clients deliver Digital Transformation progress. It is against the background of this focus that the company has recently changed its name to Aviation Intelligence.

Business Intelligence And Strategy (BIAS) was established in early 2005 to provide quick and powerful business intelligence and analytical solutions and services to a wide range of customers and sectors. Our product of choice was QlikView (and latterly Qlik Sense) and over the last 12 years we have grown with the developments innovations from Qlik which have kept them at the forefront of the enterprise analytical platform capabilities - Gartner magic Quadrant for the 6th year running. In line with our sister company, Aviation Intelligence, we are focusing on embedding data science based solutions into our Enterprise Intelligence platforms to enable enterprises enhance their Digital Transformation strategies. We are working closely with Loughborough University faculties to create specific predictive and prescriptive use case solutions for our existing customers and industry specialisations.

In 1999 I left the corporate world of Alliance & Leicester Plc to build my own business which was initially focused on providing CFO and Analytical Support to SMEs. Concentrix (a leading CRM specialist) soon became my major client and commenced a full time CFO role in January 2000. This was a hands on CFO role which soon evolved into establishing a Business Intelligence Division initially with a product called PowerOLAP (the forerunner to TM1) but in early 2005 selected QlikView as the BI tool for launching my new company in March 2005.

During my 9 years at Alliance & Leicester Plc I had a wide range of roles covering many elements of the transformation of the company from the original Alliance & Leicester Building Society, the acquisition and integration of Girobank, the conversion to Alliance & Leicester Plc and left shortly before the acquisition by Santandar.
