Discovered that a healthy lifestyle is the best way to age healthy and that a bodily stress parameter is indicative of it. Wrote and obtained a patent on it, which is the basis for my Medtech start-up Streasure4health. Whereas the stress parameter is involved in many/all chronic diseases, the present focus of Streasure4health is Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (MECFS), including covid-induced MECFS (longCOVID) and type-1 diabetes. MECFS/longCOVID:The cause of this multisystemic disease is not understood and, therefore, a proper diagnosis and treatments are lacking. The stress parameter is central to MECFS/longCOVID, which is the basis for development of a unifying point-of-care tool for diagnosis and PEM prevention, and identification/development of treatments leading to cure instead of reducing symptoms.Type-1 diabetes Mellitus (T1DM):with T1DM patients, the pancreas can not produce enough insulin to maintain blood glucose (BG) homeostasis. The (hybrid) closed-loop continuous glucose monitoring (CL-CGM) systems, through which insulin infusion is steered by CGM, has greatly improved T1DM management. Besides food, however, daily switches of bodily stressors (e.g. menstrual cycle, infection, sport, but also sensitivity to particular food) also affect BG, thereby contributing to glucose variation, reduction in time-in-range, and affecting the insulin-sensitive factor (ISF). Integration of continuous stress sensing with existing CL-CGM devices will minimize T1DM disease management and therewith realize the optimal CL-CGM device.I am interested to get in contact with interested high-profile clinical groups taking bloods samples of MECFS/longCOVID patients with activity testing, social medtech-oriented investors, business developers, funding possibilities
