BV Operations ManagerKey Responsibilities:1. To oversee that strategic direction of Bowls Competitions in Victoria;2. Manage the day-to-day activities of the Bowls Operations Team (BOT);Purpose of Role: 1. To provide strategic direction and management expertise to the Operations area of Bowls Victoria, including where appropriate to Regions and Divisions;2. To manage the staff and volunteer committees aligned with the Bowls Victoria Operations Department as Bowls Victoria Committees with clear terms of reference;3. To ensure that all aspects of Bowls Victoria Competitions are managed and delivered at the highest possible standard;4. To act as a key member of the Senior Management Team in managing Operations staff and volunteers with the objective of providing excellent customer service to Clubs and stakeholders, while also;5. Providing advice to the Board through provision of Operations Department Reports and Recommendations.Key Areas of Responsibility:1. To improve efficiencies at Regional and Divisional levels through sharing of expertise and practices with key officials responsible for delivery of competitions;2. To link with State Selection Committee and Under 18 Development Committee in relation to participation by State Sides in national events;3. Overseeing and managing all procedures including establishing a Calendar of Events, developing and distributing Entry Forms, establishing Draws for events, implementing competition results systems in association with the IT Coordinator and Events staff, ensuring results are made available in a timely fashion via the website;4. Providing leadership and coordination to the various Committee Chairmen while also seeking to work collaboratively with them and their Committee Members to streamline and improve efficiencies in operations, including communication procedures.
