Appointed Commissioner and Chairman of the City of Manhattan Beach Cultural Arts Commission. Responsible for developing a master plan for cultural arts in the City, encouraging and supporting art education programs in the community and schools, participating in the Arts in Public Places selection process, and assisting in the Art in Civic Spaces Program. Served in a City Commissioner role as well as a representative to the County of Los Angeles Library System. Responsible for recommendations and approvals of over $500K towards the Millennium Art Project and Manhattan Beach Library Art installation in 2013.
