I was employed on a contract on Teesside for client Redhall engineering for their client Aker . I was in sole charge on the Insulation contract for my company on this project all aspects of q/a q/c planning and organisation, Inspection duties are my remit to carry out our task to our client's specifications and requirements as stipulated on this project. I am also responsible for all manpower, health and safety, material issues at present we also have Scafolders and Painters on site under my authority. I am fully conversant with all aspects in the Insulation industry theoretical and practical I am a fully accredited Institute of corrosion Insulation Inspector.I have since managed the shutdown at the Huntsman PU plant at Wilton International site Teeside, and the Glaxo site at Ulverston Cumbria overseeing the painting and insulation contract I am presently at Renfrew on a Insulation project where we have 7 diving chambers to insulate for the client Divex Aberdeen.

I am based in Deborah office at Barnetby Humberside my remit is to oversee all Insulation projects in the Humberside area at present which are 3 Centrica gas fired power stations i.e outages, maintenance, projects organising manpower, materials, safety, q/c client specification and commercial aspects on all sites and dealing with the clients on a daily basis all decisions regarding our Insulation contracts are my sole responsibility in the Humberside area

My position was running the Insulation contract on the Olefins plant overhaul at Wilton works Redcar in full control of manpower, materials ,planning, organisation and full co-ordination between Cape and the client that all Safety and Quality procedures are adhered to the clients satisfaction this was the biggest overhaul in Europe this year £35 million.

I was employed on the Hartlepool Nuclear Power Station. My duties are in control of all Inspection procedures & quality control of all aspects of the thermal insulation application, materials control, quality assurance, quality control to meet the clients requirements on the contract are done to full specification to the clients desired needs and instructions. My job remit is also to improve the Insulation standards on this site and find the equivalent modern specifications which honour and match the original specifications. I am presently working on various sites in the U.K

I was employed on the Adriatic L.N.G Project at Algecirias in Spain my duties are in control of all inspection procedures & quality control of all aspects of the thermal insulation application, materials control, quality assurance, quality control to meet the clients requirements on the project are done to full specification.

I was sole in charge of the Warmzone Project in Redcar where I carried out all duties ranging from ordering of materials, Stock monitoring, Quality Assurance, Quality control, Working to clients Specifications and standards, carrying out insulation of tanks and pipe work from isometric drawings supplied by the clients. I also carried out training of operatives to NVQ Level 2 Success in Energy Efficiency. My duties included dealing with the elderly in making appointments for work to be arranged to be done.

At Hertel Services I was sole in charge of the insulation contract at DuPont Nylon Works, Wilton Site, Teesside. I was responsible for Health & Safety, Ordering of materials, manpower, paperwork, working to BS5750 standards which entails a very rigid intermediate inspection of the progress of all the work. I was in charge of Scaffolding, Painting and Insulation projects on the DuPont Site which entailed working from isometrics, working out specifications required for various product lines also part of my duties were monitoring of the overall conditions of insulation on pipe work vessels, tank work, columns for water ingress and stress corrosions and any damage to protective coverings. Dealing with clients on a daily basis. Every 2 years we had major Outages where my workforce grew from 20 operatives to between 70 -100 operatives. DuPont Nylon Works Site consisted of 7 separate plants plus trench work with various specifications. My duties also included measuring of pre-fabrication of metal i.e. bends, tee- pieces, off-sets, domes,

Duties included supervision of 10-12 operatives at Esso Depots based in Birmingham, Manchester and Heathrow Airports. I was sole in charge of the vaporisation recycling project at these locations, Where my responsibilities were working to clients specifications from Isometric drawings supplied for Pipe work, tanks, vessel's. Valves and Flanges. The Spec included Polyurethane, Foam Injection of pipe work and tanks. My duties also included measuring of pre- fabrication of metal i.e. bends, tee-pieces, off-sets, domes, tanks, vessel's, valves and flange boxes and intermediate quality inspection of all work undertaken to client satisfaction
