Owner and Managing Director of a chain of women-only gyms & beauty salons.I took over a loss-making women only gym in Abingdon, Oxfordshire in 2011 and grew the business to £350,000 per year turnover with 4 x gyms, 3 x beauty salons, 1 x hair salon.Fitness In Time offered gym facilities, personal training, dedicated coaching and a welcoming friendly environment.In 2022, after the Covid-19 pandemic, I made the decision to close the business down. The company was in need of significant funding for refurbishment, all premises leases were coming to an end and with a young family, I made the decision that the time was right for a change in career direction for myself.
