Optometrist practicing initially in Christchurch, Melbourne and the UK. Since 1991 working in partnership with Peter Snr (Optometrist as well) I have been based in Dunedin NZ and we opened a ran another practice in Oamaru NZ until 2007. We joined Visique in 2001, the largest NZ owned Optometry group. Now known as the Independent Optometry Group.In 2013 I passed a year long post graduate course to receive a Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics from Queensland University of Technology. This allows me to treat eye conditions including glaucoma and red eye. Peter Snr retired in March 2014 after 52 years service. Optometrist Katrina French who is also my niece started working in the family firm in 2019. She is the 5th generation Optometrist. In 2021 joined me as a partner.We currently have our Dunedin and Mosgiel practice and I also regularly visit Cromwell & Ranfurly. We are celebrating the business being 100 years old in 2015.
