With over 30 years of working within facility management (FM) and construction, I am a passionate ambassador at Wavetrust, a social enterprise that provides sustainable and affordable FM and construction solutions to communities in need. As an ambassador, I leverage my expertise in negotiation, project management, and stakeholder engagement to secure partnerships, funding, and contracts with various organizations, such as NGOs, governments, and corporations. I also oversee the quality, safety, and impact of our projects, ensuring that they meet the highest standards and deliver the best outcomes for our clients and beneficiaries. Before joining Wavetrust in 2022, I was the director of Dillon Facilities Services, a company that I founded in 2019 to offer professional and reliable FM and construction services to residential and commercial clients in Edinburgh and beyond. I managed a team of skilled and experienced contractors, who handled everything from kitchen fitting to complete refurbishments of properties. I also ran a successful hairdressing salon in the same premises, diversifying my income and expanding my network. I am driven by the mission of creating positive social change through FM and construction, and I bring a diverse and valuable perspective to the field. I am always eager to learn new skills, collaborate with others, and explore new opportunities.
