I established an extensive set of global opportunities which are actively being pursued and captured by Merlin at this time. This includes Program Management consulting for existing contracts. The assignment was temporary.

I was responsible for the initiation, development and exploration of international opportunities for Military Training and Simulation (NAVAIR/SEA, PEOSTRI, AF). Responsible for the initiation of the International S & T business opportunities in the Middle East and Asia. Responsible for the development and leadership of all aspects the pursuits. This included identifying the market / market strategy, customers and customer requirements up to and including win strategies and capture management / proposal development.Types of product offerings: Avionics training and simulation for fixed and rotary wing devices, ground systems training and simulation, training systems from instructor led training, CBT ( computer based training) / FTD's (flight training devices) to highly complex (FFS) full flight simulators. I specialized in developing partnerships and alliances. I am knowledgeable of offset and international rules and regulations to include compliance with ITAR requirements. I have extensive experience and strong cultural familiarity in the Middle East, Asia and South America.

IP Mining, Technology Incubation and Exploration (2003-2005 Lockheed Martin Systems Integration)Responsible for providing leadership and direction with the purpose of enhancing LMC’s (Lockheed Martin Companies’) relationship with national laboratories and other centers of technical competence. Capture technology that will improve LMSI-O’s business unit capabilities and revenue stream. Provide business development and technical support to the site business units as part of the Aerospace Solutions Technology Development Charter - Management of LMSI-O Aerospace Technology Investment Program.Marketing / Business Development (1996 to 2003- Lockheed Martin Corp/Loral/IBM.) Note: During this period IBM sold the IBM Federal Systems Division to Loral in 1996. Loral held the division for 2 years and then sold it to Lockheed Martin in 1998. I remained in the company in the assignments mentioned below during these transitions)Note: Responsible for establishing Military products and applications into new commercial opportunities for Lockheed Martin.Intellectual Property Management (1998-2003) This activity involved the “ground-up” development of a new organization including an international market and the associated licensing / DOC and (Department of Commerce) approvals. Successes were achieved by obtaining outside investors and partnerships.
