Responsible for all aspects of the design, planning and execution of Apache’s Australian completions, intervention, testing, workover and subsea activities• Introduced significant change and structure to the team to simultaneously manage the planning and execution of three major subsea development projects (Coniston, Balnaves and Julimar), well abandonment campaigns and Stag workover and completions• Acted up in role as Drilling Manager for significant periods of time while fulfilling existing duties• Oversaw the successful design and execution (in line with HSE, cost and schedule targets) of:o Coniston development – 7 x dual / tri lateral, standalone screens (with Inflow Control Devices) subsea completions;o Stag infield development – 2 x ESP completions with standalone screens;o Balnaves development – four different subsea completions designs (2 x gas producers, 1 x water injector, 1 x gas injector); ando Julimar development – 5 x big bore gravel packed gas subsea completions

Initially managed all aspects of drilling and completions planning and design for the Sunrise development. Transitioned to focal point for platform rig FEED for the Browse project. Company focal point for Mutual Aid Agreement working group, developed MoU for industry sharing of rigs and services during emergency situations following Macondo & Montara incidents.

Responsible for the implementation and governance of Santos’ Drilling and Completions Management Systems and processes and provision of technical support

Accountable for managing all aspects of Santos’ Offshore Australia drilling, completions, testing, workover and intervention activities including Health, Safety and Environment; budgeting and cost control conceptual and detailed well construction design and planning; logistics (shorebases, vessels, aviation), rig operations; personnel recruitment and development; contracts and procurement; scheduling; regulatory and joint venture relationships and approvals; systems improvement, auditing and compliance.• Managed a team of up to 80 people and a maximum of four concurrent operations (with annual budgets up to A$600MM) to deliver a combination of 22 exploration / appraisal wells (including well test planning for three wells), four horizontal subsea development wells, five horizontal subsea dual ESP workovers and a subsea CTU intervention on both jack-ups and semi-submersibles in the Carnarvon, Browse, Bonaparte, Otway and Sorrell Basins. Managed rig start ups for a total of eight campaigns.• Championed EHS performance and continuous operations improvement using a multi-faceted approach starting from the planning process (HAZID, risk assessments, rig and systems audits, QA/QC process etc) to the execution of operations (inductions, rig and vessel start up inspections, permanent offshore EHS presence etc) through to emergency response planning.• Focal point for rigs, vessels and aviation services contracts and oversaw all other drilling and completions contracts.
