Developed a broad range of unique products and manufacturing processes from ideation, through concept, hands- on prototyping, testing and manufacturing, within a small very creative engineering team.This included:- Tooling for a highly specialized cable assembly needing to withstand Mach 3+ speeds on the outside of a missile.- A wire harness for a high-tech sports shirt I close conjunction with one of Europe's largest sports apparel manufacturer.- Fiberoptic sensors for military nuclear security applications.This included generation of board- room- ready photorealistic product visualizations and animations, using state of the art 3D software.

Led international, multidisciplinary teams through the design, building, installation and set-up of automated assembly systems. Developed detailed concepts, and proposals, for custom automated manufacturing equipment mostly in the automotive industry including technical and financial aspects.

Helped to start-up plant when Pierburg started a new production facility in 1996 and was in charge of all manufacturing equipment. Management the transfer of all necessary equipment from Pierburg headquarters in Germany to the new facility in the US. Managed manufacturing operations for 1st 3-4 months. Highlights of achievements: - Transferred equipment, product and process knowledge to new site, trained all supervisors and operators and started running production in full quantities 4 weeks after arrival, without quality problems or disruptions to customers. - Successfully lead manufacturing operations team through initial QS9000 certification. Passed audit after only 9 months of preparation without any noncompliance.
