During the summer of 2016, I worked as an intern at Nicolson Porter & List, Inc in Park Ridge, Illinois. Nicolson Porter & List, Inc is a multi-service corporate commercial real estate firm with a tremendously professional environment. As an intern, I was mentored to learn about brokerage for industrial properties. The main project I was given was to create a lease comps database for industrial properties in order to help the firm better understand the market. This database helped me to learn about commonly used real estate tools such as CoStar, Excel and Outlook. During the time that I was not building the database, I aided in building showings which consisted of both landlord and tenant representation. This provided fantastic onsite experience and allowed me to grow my understanding of frequently used terminology. I am very thankful to have been given the opportunity to learn the business of commercial real estate from a top class firm such as Nicolson Porter & List, Inc.

During the summer of 2015 I was an intern at Two Rivers Conferencing where I was able to enhance my skills in both marketing and customer service. This opportunity allowed me to do things such as first level customer support, manage customer relationship data, create marketing materials, and perform demonstrations for customers. It was truly a great learning experience in a fantastic and professional environment!
