This job blended teaching and project management into a role that required me to undertake a variety of tasks to ensure the delivery of RACQ’s education programs. My time at RACQ saw me working closely and effectively within a team environment. Responsibilities included:• Organising and presenting six programs to groups on the topic of road and driver safety. Groups ranged in age from 4 year olds to retirees and varied in size from 20 to 120 participants• Handling all enquires from schools, community groups and individuals about RACQ’s programs and resources via email and phone• Liaising with and co-ordinating a variety of stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of the programs. Stakeholders included teachers, school admin staff, Qld Police, Qld Ambulance service, merchandise suppliers and fellow RACQ staff• Researching and creating educational resources based on the Australian Curriculum for teachers to use in a classroom setting• Conducting inventory counts, placing orders and working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure ready supply of RACQ merchandise• Planning and organising logistics for educational tours of regional Queensland
