I run a company that provides operational planning support and training for events, crisis management and business continuity training and exercising. The company is able to work closely with a range of clients bespoke to their requirements around Crisis Management and Emergency Preparedness.

Northamptonshire

Responsible for all security related matters for Silverstone Circuits Ltd, including Safety Officer role at their larger events. Interim Head of Health & Safety & COVID Officer.

Milton Keynes

Fixed hours part time permanent contract working as Safety Officer and Secuirty Manager to protect the corporate assets including public safety on match days. Incorporates the protection and security management of the retail shop, events and activities of the large new arena and a 300 bedroom DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. Engaged in asset protection in all areas of the business both on and off site (training ground and other buildings). Responsible for security audits, training and awareness, security contracts and conducting investigations. Design and deliver training in a range of areas including counter-terrorism.

I currently deliver training abroad as an associate for the National Police Improvement Agency (UK) - working predominently in the Middle East (Abu Dhabi and Qatar) delivering courses on Major Incidents, Crisis Management and Operational First Responder.

Coventry

Responsible for the transportation infrastructure getting people to the City of Coventry Stadium (Ricoh Arena). Included multi-agency liaison; transportation planning; car parking at Park & Walk sites; providing a bus shuttle service from Coventry City Centre to the venue.

Provided safer internet awareness and training to parents, corporate and protective services through a package developed by Newcastle University, the Northern Grid for Learning, Microsoft and the police (outcome of the Hadrian Project) - and exciting and accredited package that provides parents and caring adults with an awareness of the risk of the internet - followed with a variety of options as to what tools can be used to protect our children and young people on the internet.

I worked with Ultra Datel and Atkins & Partners Ltd to develop planning and event/crisis management software called Atlas Generic Planning (AGP). This was integrated into Thames Valley Police planning for all operations and events as a one stop repository and planning tool - they've used it to plan over 3000 operations and events since its introduction.Currently working with Ultra to further develop an interactive crisis management, plan builder tool.

Worked as the Thames Valley Police liaison officer for the British Grand Prix for which Northamptonshire Police took the operational lead.
