Director of IT / Oct. 2009 – Aug. 2018 (currently a contracted IT consultant)As Director of Information Technology, I was responsible for all aspects of the network infrastructure for this nationally recognized medical group specializing in minimally invasive spine procedures and advanced arthroscopic techniques. DISC is a group of 36 doctors and surgeons specializing in spine and orthopedic care. I’ve created my own team as well as worked with outsourced IT groups to support up to 120+ staff at our largest. Support incudes all network systems and business and clinical applications. Successfully led a team of 20+ IT professionals to de-integrate from the larger corporate partner 3 years later.

CAD Manager / Apr. 2006 – Nov. 2008Supported 120+ architectural staff on all aspects of computer aided design software (AutoCAD) at this world renown design firm lead by Frank Gehry AIA. I built and maintained office-wide CAD standards and libraries. Responsibilities included conducting training classes for all new architects and designers. Worked as part of internal IT team to constantly develop and evolve the network, CAD and BIM capabilities. Supported advanced AV/GoToMeeting conferencing for large scale projects. http://foga.com

IT/CAD Manager / 1996-2004As part of senior management, my responsibilities included all technology decisions for this frequently award winning and published international architectural firm. Common tasks included researching, procurement, installation, training and software and hardware support. Prepared cost benefit analysis and annual budget projections for both their LA and Santa Barbara offices. Managed VPN network with over 25 Mac/PCs workstations. Became an integral part of hiring and training new CAD employees. Authored office wide CAD standards and procedures. Created new custom databases to help in office automation and production. Maintained company website and intranet. Managed the production of marketing material such as company brochures, architectural books and design competitions.
