I began practicing law in Damariscotta after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2005. My practice has been primarily focused on municipal law, litigation, government relations and real estate.Prior to law school, I served on the legislative staff of the House Minority Leader in the U.S. Congress. I left Congressman Gephardt’s office to become the Maine Political Director for the Gore 2000 Campaign. Also prior to law school, I worked for the Public Law and Policy and International Law practices at the high-powered Washington, D.C. law firm Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP.I am a graduate of Great Salt Bay School, Lincoln Academy and Connecticut College. I am conversant in Spanish and while in college spent a semester at the Universidad de las Americas in Mexico. Between my Junior and Senior years in college, I worked for the Alianza Bi-National Center in Montivideo, Uruguay, part of the United States Information Agency.I am actively involved in my community. I am a founding member of Our Town, the Damariscotta Region Business Alliance, and the Midcoast Green Collaborative and serve as a Director of the Damariscotta River Association. I am also a member of the Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce, the Damariscotta – Newcastle Rotary, the Lincoln County Bar Associaton, the Knox County Bar Association and the Maine Bar Association.Our goal is to provide excellent legal services to the people of Maine while maintaining a strong client focus with personal attention to each client matter. We represent many of the business, political, and financial leaders in our community and hope that we can put our abilities to work for clients like you.
