In the last 20 years I have been responsible for a hands on management role delivering over £10M in managerial profit. This suited my personal life, I have enjoyed seeing my three children grow. I have ran small districts at a multi unit level. Prior to this role I was involved in a conceptual capacity formulating and operating new brands for Out of Town restaurants. The owner of the group sold up after buying and selling Little chef for a tidy profit. Prior to working for OOT, I was employed by Whitbread as a GM for TGI Fridays. I ran Citygate in Leeds with a 52 bedroom Travel Inn. I started my career in the leisure industry with luminar leisure,running nightclubs in the early 90s. I left luminar and enjoyed travelling the world for a year, working in Australia in a Michelin starred restaurant in Melbourne. I returned to the U.K. In 1993 and enjoyed a challenging career with Life and Sole restaurants. In the 5 years I was with Life and Sole I had various roles, from customer service trainer to operations manager. Specialising in operations within shopping centres. I feel now that I have had the opportunity to see my children grow that I need a new challenge.I enjoy the job that I do. I feel that I have a lot more to offer than my current circle of influence allows at a corporate level. I see myself as a frustrated visionary who knows how to get the best out of and develop teams.People work for people. I'm passionate, innovative and inspirational and I'm looking for the right opportunity to take me out of my comfort zone, stretch and challenge and excite me.Profit, development of people, quality products, provenance and sexyness of concepts make me sit up and take notice.This year I took the plunge and started my own company. Hopefully my dream won’t be destroyed by COVID-19.
