During my internship at the Max Planck Institute, I successfully developed and constructed a femtosecond Transient Absorption Spectroscopy (TAS) setup, starting from a near-empty optical table. This involved designing and assembling the optical system, creating data acquisition and experimental control software, and developing initial analysis tools. The final setup achieved a temporal resolution of 180 femtoseconds with a precision of 10^-6 in detecting changes in optical density. I also conducted the first successful measurements with this setup. Besides this I also recieved a nomination for the NNV HBO Young Talent Award for the report about this work.

At this time I was the Chairmain of Study association Planck. Alongside my primary function as Chairman I also worked on task which would normally fall under a Commissioner of External affairs and Commissioner of Internal affairs. Task which i was busy with are leading the association, hosting meetings, hosting general assembly's , guiding committees, having contact with sponsors and many more tasks.
