Now officially retired and free to do the enjoyable things in life but previously….…..a highly experienced professional with a proven track record at a senior executive level. He has held permanent and interim COO positions in large PLC and smaller private equity backed organisations. Familiar with the challenges of running multi-disciplined teams, he has experience across a broad spectrum of functions including sales, client service, risk management, change, technology and HR. Possessing excellent people skills and an ability to build, manage and motivate high performing teams. He enjoys a reputation for integrity, leadership, engagement and execution. Key strengths lay in organising and leading change in order to drive sustainable commercial and cultural improvement. Pete built his career at Barclays Bank where he worked in the Retail, Corporate and Wealth sectors, and held COO Managing Director positions within the Wealth and Private Banking business units. He subsequently joined a private equity backed financial services business in the capacity of COO where he was responsible for the Group central support functions.Pete subsequently set up his own company undertaking consultancy and interim roles including experience with a challenger bank start-up. He has also taken on a NED position in a sport’s governing body .
