In my current position I have successfully tailored and launched a full suite of cash management products to help anchor, expand and attract new business. This includes remote capture, merchant processing, and "e-vault" services. Together, these services started from zero and grew to produce more than $100K in non-interest fee income. Remote deposit, which also started from zero, has grown to produce nearly $400K each day in DDA deposits from 125 enrolled accounts.

For this role, I effectively designed, developed and launched a Visa Debit payroll card product. I also developed and introduced "Every1 Checking." and a "Triple Option" CD offering a rate bump, allowing deposits and penalty-free withdrawals. In the first 60 days, this product attracted more than $90 million in new money. Furthermore, I collaborated with the SBA, Staples and Sempra Energy in an entrepreneurial incubator aimed at Latinos aspiring to launch their own business, for which I was recognized by the Los Angeles City Council.

At Cal Fed Bank, I introduced process improvements for lending, the investment services unit and retail banking to significantly improve the client experience. A key achievement was to pioneer the industry's first bank-wide customer appreciation day, resulting in records for new checking accounts, 535 opened during the one-week promotional period, vs.an average monthly volume of 204); and home equity applications. In my role as a Product Manager, I managed the bank's financial institution's credit card relationship where I was able to grow the portfolio to more than 75,000, or 20% of the bank's customers, producing more than $2.5 million in fee income. And a strategic alliance I forged with a chain of home improvement stores funded more than 80 loans yielding $90,000 fee income during a 60 day pilot.

At Answer Financial, I formulated and launched marketing strategies to increase sales of home warranties, roadside assistance and prepaid legal plans. Home warranties were relatively new to the market, and I saw sales grow by more than 50% through greatly-expanded digital content, and through comprehensive and ongoing product training for call center reps. But the most outstanding element from my experience at Answer was a holistic cause-based marketing program to promote pet insurance that drove adoptions and more than doubled subscribers in 17 markets across the US, leading to impressive sales growth of 356%.

I managed a seamless brand conversion, unifying more than 3.5 million NationsBank, Seafirst Bank and legacy Bank of America cardholders under the Bank of America banner. I also overcame client resistance and demonstrated creative innovation with amplified card designs; ensuring two thirds more space for company logos. Significant savings were also realized by streamlining B&R operations and introducing standardized statement stock and envelopes. More significantly, my ability to renegotiate AD&D rates through Chubb yielded improved cardholder benefit coverage, and a net reduction of annual premiums by more than $250k.
