As the Genetic Technical Laboratory Manager at Synnovis, my mission is anchored in advancing precision medicine through meticulous genetic testing and analysis. My expertise in next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology has been instrumental in the diagnosis and treatment planning for myeloid and lymphoid diseases. At the helm of the technical side of the laboratory, my role includes managing operations, such as procurement, line management and quality management; whilst contributing to pioneering onboarding of a ctDNA testing service, directly impacting patient care.The team at Synnovis, in collaboration with Guy's and St Thomas's Trust, benefits from my management skills and my understanding of molecular haematology-oncology. Our collective efforts focus on improving outcomes for AML patients and enhancing solid tumour testing protocols. The goal is to refine and expand genetic services, ensuring that each patient receives the most informed and personalized treatment options available.
