• Lead implementation of new HCM system (Workday) designed to support the Human Resources and Payroll functions of a 27,000 employee Health System, replacing a 20-year antiquated system.• Led a team of five, through various stages of an aggressive timeline, towards implementation including: Discovery, Planning, Configuration, Testing, Education, Build and Implementation.• Responsible for regular reporting to Steering Committee of risks, goals and general milestone management.• Develop plans to consolidate various absence and benefit plans into a “OneGeisinger” streamlined approach. • Responsible for design of education topics and material for staff of 10 professionals.

• Reporting directly to the Vice President, HR Services - Manage and Lead up to 9 benefit professionals located in various locations throughout Northeast and Central Pennsylvania.• Responsible for health and welfare benefits, absence and retirement plans to support 27,000 employee, integrated Health System.• Support of annual budget process while developing new market competitive programs at the same time growing and enhancing existing programs.• Led multifaceted project of consolidating acquired and legacy retirement plans from 12 plans to 4.• Responsible for annual benefits enrollment with over 98% online enrollment.• Partner with outside ERISA attorneys, business partners and internal legal counsel to ensure compliance of all health and welfare plans.• Responsible for recommending programs, preparing bids, reviewing insurance contracts, explaining benefits and leading the business development and planning processes with service providers.• Researches current benefit trends and regulatory/legislative requirements and recommends programs/changes to Management. Draft legal compliance documentation (SPDs).

• Responsible for the supervision, training and development of two employees.• Lead various retirement plan projects including multiple acquired employer plans, valued over $170 million. • Assists with the administration of health and welfare benefit plans and the Geisinger Retirement Plan. • Created, tested and distributed enhanced version of a Total Rewards Statement.• Compiles, analyzes and reports on all benefit plan data for strategic benefits planning and evaluation.• Develops, conducts and participates in a variety of presentations to inform and educate management and employees about changes to benefit plans.• Provides benefit plan interpretation, guidance and counsel to employees, HR peers and managers; assist with the resolutions of any potential problems.
