- Developed SPARTA, a python tool that uses a bayesian approach to “untangle” pooled RNAseq reads and assign them to their parental alleles in pooled yeast transcriptome data. - SPARTA fits into a larger pipeline designed in the Storey Lab to study allele specific expression and gene environment interactions in yeast.

- Used computational analyses to characterize transcription factor binding motifs in surface ectoderm cell specific demethylated genomic regions.- Analyzed ChIP-seq binding peaks enriched within certain transposable element subfamilies in mouse and human. Used de novo motif analysis to provide evidence for sequence-specific binding of transcription factors to transposable elements.

NOvA Software Team : October 2012 – May 2013- developed software for internal factory use. The NOvA QA software system used Java EE in conjunction with a PostgreSQL database in order to track and store neutrino detector module assembly data.- resolved bugs in existing code uncovered by daily usage of the system.resolved problems with module data using PostgreSQL to ensure correctness of stored data.NOvA Station Leader : Summer 2012- led a team of University of Minnesota students to perform a crucial assembly step in the construction of NovA neutrino detector modules
